New York City, Let's Pause for Peace

There are moments in life when coming together matters.
This is one of them.
On Wednesday, July 15, we'll be gathering at Barnes & Noble Fifth Avenue in New York City to celebrate The Peace Guidebook: How to Cultivate Hope, Healing, and Harmony for the Good of Humankind. While we'll certainly be signing books and meeting readers, what we're really celebrating is something much bigger.
We're celebrating the possibility that peace is still worth choosing.
Every day, we're reminded of the challenges facing our world. We see division, uncertainty, and people searching for hope. Yet we also see kindness, compassion, resilience, and people who are quietly choosing to make a difference in their homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
That's what the Percolate Peace movement is all about.
Peace doesn't begin with governments or headlines. It begins with a single person choosing patience instead of anger. Listening instead of judging. Extending kindness instead of criticism. Offering hope instead of fear. Those moments ripple outward, touching lives in ways we may never fully see.
That's why this New York City gathering means so much to us.
In one of the busiest cities in the world, we'll pause together to celebrate the idea that peace is not passive. It's active. It's courageous. It's something we create every day through the choices we make and the way we treat one another.
Whether you've been part of this movement from the beginning or are just discovering it, we'd love to welcome you.
Join us on Wednesday, July 15, at 12:00 PM at Barnes & Noble Fifth Avenue in New York City. Tickets include a copy of The Peace Guidebook and admission to the signing. We'd love to meet you, hear your story, sign your book, and thank you for being part of this growing community.
If you can't attend in person, you can still join us.
Wherever you are, take a moment on July 15 to pause. Take one deep breath. Perform one unexpected act of kindness. Offer one encouraging word. Forgive someone. Smile at a stranger. Reach out to a friend. Share a peaceful message on social media. Every act of peace matters.
Then visit PercolatePeace.com and share your Peace Promise, a peaceful moment you've experienced, or a random act of kindness you've witnessed. Together, we're creating a collection of real stories that remind us peace is alive and well because people choose it every single day.
If you know someone in the New York City area, we'd be grateful if you'd invite them to join us. Every new face represents another opportunity to spread hope, healing, harmony, and peace.
We believe that one peaceful moment can change a day.
One peaceful conversation can change a relationship.
One peaceful choice can change a life.
And together, millions of peaceful choices can help change the world.
We'll see you in New York City.
Pause. Breathe. Choose.
With gratitude,
Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino & Dr. Katie Eastman
Compassion is the heartbeat of peace.
When you grow, the world grows with you.
