About the Percolate Peace Project - Our Movement for Global Peace

About the Percolate Peace Project

The Percolate Peace Project is a global initiative with a simple, powerful goal:

👉 1,000,000 moments of peace.

Co-founded by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and Katie Eastman, the project is a direct extension of their work in The Peace Guidebook: How to Cultivate Hope, Healing, and Harmony for the Good of Humankind.

At its core is one belief:

🌍 Peace isn’t passive. It’s a personal, powerful, everyday practice.

What This Is

The Percolate Peace Project is a place where people from around the world come together to:

  • share a moment of peace

  • make a peace promise

  • take a simple act of kindness

…and log it.

Because when one moment becomes many, something bigger begins to happen.

Why “Percolate”?

Just like coffee takes time to percolate, peace does too.

It’s not instant.
It builds—through awareness, intention, and daily choices.

This project is about filtering your best self through your life:

One breath.
One choice.
One interaction at a time.

The Mission

To empower individuals, families, and communities to:

🌱 Practice peace daily through simple, real-life actions
💬 Share moments that matter—honest, human, and meaningful
🤝 Connect through positivity and intention
🕊️ Create ripple effects of peace that extend beyond what we can see

How to Participate

Getting involved is simple:

👉 Share a moment of peace, a promise, or an act of kindness
👉 Log it here: https://www.percolatepeace.com/passthepeace
👉 Read and be inspired by others

That’s it.

No perfection.
No pressure.

Just participation.

Why It Matters

We live in a world where people are overwhelmed, disconnected, and searching for something real.

But we also live in a world where:

👉 one moment can shift a mindset
👉 one act of kindness can change a day
👉 one promise can create lasting impact

This project exists to make those moments visible—and to remind us that peace is something we create together.
