Living in Circles: How Small Moments Connect Us Through Peace

At Percolate Peace, we've begun to notice something beautiful in our daily lives—something so simple, yet profoundly powerful: we live in circles.
From the moment our day begins, we find ourselves surrounded by circles. Maybe it starts at the breakfast table, encircled by family with hugs, laughter, or a warm plate of waffles. As the day unfolds, the circle expands—colleagues gathered for a team meeting, communities coming together for shared causes, or friends checking in with each other through text or a quick call.
And then, there are the sacred, quiet circles—moments when we sit in stillness beside someone at the end of their life, or hold space for someone grieving. These are not just emotional spaces—they are energetic circles of presence, compassion, and profound peace.
Recognizing the Greater Circle
These daily circles may seem small or even separate, but they are part of something greater. Like overlapping rings in a pool of water, each moment connects to the next. Each interaction, whether joyful or challenging, becomes part of what we now call the Greater Circle of Humanity.
These moments—pausing to smile at a stranger, offering kind words to a coworker, listening deeply to a friend—are not random. They’re ripples of peace. Each one connects us, heart to heart, in the most human way.
Intentionally Calling Forth the Circle
We’ve adopted a new practice: before each gathering, conversation, or meeting, we silently "call forth the circle." It reminds us why we’re here—to uplift, support, and embody our highest and most peaceful selves.
This simple intention has transformed the way we lead, live, and connect.
Because gestures matter. Because presence matters. Because peace begins with awareness.
Each small act of kindness is a thread that strengthens the web of peaceful connection all around us. And when we recognize that we are not alone—that we are surrounded by people who care, by opportunities to give, by peaceful possibilities—we step into something truly powerful.
Your First Circle of the Day
Tomorrow morning, we invite you to notice your first circle. Maybe it’s the circle of steam rising from your coffee. Maybe it’s the laughter around the kitchen table. Maybe it’s the breath you take before diving into your day.
Whatever it is, start there. Let that circle remind you that peace is already present—it just needs your attention to grow.
Each circle is an opportunity to Percolate Peace.
Create Your Own Percolate Peace Circle
If this idea resonates with you, we warmly invite you to create your own Percolate Peace Circle—a space for meaningful reflection, peaceful conversation, and intentional kindness. Your circle can be made up of family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, or even strangers who want to share a commitment to peace.
Your Peace Circle can look like:
A weekly 15-minute virtual or in-person check-in to share gratitude
A daily intention shared via group text or email
A monthly gathering to reflect, listen, and inspire peaceful action
A circle of encouragement where everyone lifts one another up
These circles don’t need to be perfect. They just need to be real.
Because when we gather with intention, we become peace in motion. We magnify the ripple. And together, we weave a stronger, more peaceful world—one circle, one gesture, one moment at a time.
